Hi friends,

I’ve had to take a short break on the ZYX Project because it was taking all of my time and I needed to regroup (with myself) and really hunker down and take care of some business. And everything takes soooooo long when you’re the only one running the one-woman MoMeMan show. So many details. So many projects. So many things to learn.

Allow me to spill the beans–but not the whole pot, on a few things in progress:

1. I’ve been working on an upgrade to the ZYX Project section of my website. It’s still not done, so I don’t wanna talk about it but let’s just say I’ve been working with a developer that said it would take 1-2 weeks and it’s been 2 1/2 months. Sigh. I can’t even…And I don’t wanna hype it up too much because, in the scheme of things, it’s a pretty simple upgrade and it’s pretty ridiculous that it’s taken this long.

2. I’ve been working on a Lookbook/Product Line Sheet to introduce The MoMeMans to retailers. And once I started, it opened up a whole can of worms that thought they were caterpillars and, of course, wanted to be butterflies. I refined, I discontinued and had a lot of back and forth with several manufacturers over the course of several long weeks. But I’m glad I did it. It’s all making more sense. The new goods are not up on the site yet because not all shipments haven’t come in and I still have to shoot them. But soon! Very soon!

3. All of this was in preparation for my biggest news! I’m super excited to announce that I’m going to be a vendor at Artists and Fleas here in Williamsburg. I think they are the perfect partners for The MoMeMans first real experience in real life. Artists & Fleas and the vendors that show there have always inspired me and made shopping fun. I’m always excited to see new artists hustling and happy to support them and I’m finding it strange that I’m going to be one of them! I couldn’t be more antsy, anxious, a little crazy and extremely ready. Well, sorta. Come and see us if you are in the hood. And if you’re not, make the trek! Tell your friends! We’re going to be there Nov 3-4, Nov 10-11, Dec 1-2, Dec 8-9, 2018!

Yipppeeee yahoo and ok, I better make sure I’m ready…back to work!
