Your Go-To Guide to Williamsburg, Brooklyn from a Long-Time Local
Earlier this year I was interviewed by a dear friend and amazing interior designer, Susan Knof, Founder of Knof Design, to talk about my beloved neighborhood in Brooklyn for her Curiocity Guide. And I'm not just saying this to say this, I literally wake up every day super grateful for living where I live. It's not lost on me. I love living by the water. I love my views. I love my neighbors. It's a truly magical place to live and though the neighborhood has changed so much over the past 13 years I've called this home, it also seems to have grown with me. Because when I first ventured across the East River (Gasp! Leaving Manhattan?! How could you?), I was in a very different life stage. Living it up and going out where the live music and bars were most important. These days, I love my daily walks through Domino Park, accessibility of great restaurants and pizza shops and all the other amazing renovated parks and outdoor spaces like Bushwick Inlet, McCarren Park and fun places to spend our time as a family or as a couple of grown-ups.
So if you're coming for a visit or just unfamiliar with Williamsburg, Brooklyn, check out my picks! I love recommending places that make you feel like a local!
